I am a high school student with a strong interest in veterinary medicine.
I am actively seeking shadowing opportunities to gain practical experience and learn more about the daily responsibilities of a veterinarian.
I’m eager to observe animal care and medical procedures firsthand to better prepare for my future career.
Originally from Kitchener, I now live in the Peterborough area as a student at Thomas A. Stewart Secondary School, where I’m enrolled in the Integrated Arts program as a Dance major.
In addition to my passion for the arts, I have developed a strong interest in science and biology, which is my favourite subject. I consistently achieve high marks and have been on the honour roll each year.
Outside of school, I volunteer at a farm sanctuary, where I care for rescued farm animals. I also foster cats and assist at adoption events for a cat rescue.
Beyond volunteering, my extracurricular activities include being a member of a competitive dance team and taking horseback riding lessons, which include grooming and tacking responsibilities.
When I’m not focused on academics or volunteering, I take care of my two Papillon dogs, two Devon Rex cats and like to travel and explore new places with my family.
My goal is to study veterinary medicine in the UK, focusing on small animals and exotic species, though I’m eager to learn about providing care for all animals. After graduation, I plan to return to Canada to practice.
